The mini-golf was a lot of fun and perfect for families. Our unit had some cleanliness issues, particularly with the carpets. The game room has great options like ping-pong and pool tables, but the sales pitch at check-in was a bit pushy.

I was really frustrated with the check-in experience. After a long drive, we faced a slow, complicated process that included a pushy sales pitch. The staff seemed confused and it took forever to finally get into our room. Super annoying!

Big space for everybody. Nice kitchen, big dining table and two bedrooms made it easy for us all.
It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

During my stay, I was thrilled to find that I was only about a 5-minute drive from major attractions like Colonial Williamsburg, which allowed me to easily immerse myself in the historic charm of the area, and there were also plenty of dining options ranging from Mongolian to Thai just within a short walk from my accommodations, making it super convenient for meals after a day of exploring and enjoying the outdoors; the amenities of the place were great too, but the noise from upstairs neighbors could be a bit distracting at times.

The two-bedroom suite was spacious and recently renovated, a perfect fit for our family. Our family enjoyed the wide range of amenities at the resort, from the multiple pools and tennis courts to the engaging activities program and well-equipped fitness center. The game room, playground, and miniature golf provided endless entertainment for our kids, while the barbecue area was perfect for family cookouts. We also loved the movie theater where we could unwind after a day full of adventures like mountain biking and hiking trails nearby.
My wife says that a more efficient check-in process would enhance the overall experience for families with children.

I had the best time soaking up the sun at the outdoor pool! The 18+ pool was a perfect escape with its relaxing vibe and lovely fountain. Our apartment was spacious, super clean, and felt like a home away from home!

The apartment we stayed in was pretty cozy, but there were a few things that could have been better. First off, the heating and air conditioning in the unit worked really well, which was a big plus. It kept us comfortable throughout our stay. The sitting area was nice and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the area. One thing I really appreciated was the free Wi-Fi in the rooms. It was reliable and fast, which made it easy to stay connected. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch for some evening entertainment. I did notice that the carpeted floor in the room was a bit worn out and could use some updating. It didn't affect our stay too much, but it was noticeable. the kitchen utensils and cookware were a bit limited. We had to make do with what was available, but it would have been nice to have a better selection. the amenities like the free toiletries and washing machine were convenient to have during our stay. The garden furniture outside was a nice touch for enjoying the fresh air. In terms of improvements, updating the carpet and adding some more kitchen utensils would definitely enhance the overall experience. But despite these minor things, the overall stay at Kingsgate was pleasant and enjoyable.

We hit up the pools, played tennis, and had a blast at the movie theater and game room. hiking trails nearby were sick! Perfect spot for our squad to chill and have a rad time together.
Only thing I'd ask for is a late-night hangout spot with music and drinks for us night owls! .

Had such a blast on our weekend stay! Rooms were big with awesome kitchens, perfect for families! Loved the tranquil vibe and the friendly staff. Location was spot on, close to cool amenities and attractions in a peaceful setting.
A few tweaks would've been nice like trash cans in every room. Doors needed some fixing to keep the chill out during cold months.
